Banana Lavender Iced Coffee: A Healthy Morning Kickstart
There’s nothing quite like an iced coffee to keep you cool and refreshed on a spring day. I’ve been playing around with ways to make my morning coffee both healthy and satisfying, and I think I’ve landed on a winner. This Banana Lavender Iced Coffee is simple, naturally sweetened, and delightfully creamy—making it perfect for warmer temps.
Ingredients:
1-2 shots of espresso (or strong brewed coffee)
A handful of ice cubes
1 banana (for natural sweetness and creaminess)
½ cup oat milk (or your milk of choice)
½ tsp vanilla extract
1-2 tsp honey (adjust to your taste)
A pinch of culinary lavender (optional, but so good!)
Instructions:
Brew your espresso and let it cool slightly.
In a blender, combine the banana, oat milk, vanilla extract, and honey. Blend until smooth and creamy.
Fill a glass with ice, pour in your espresso, and top it with the banana-oat milk blend.
Give it a gentle stir to combine, and if you’re feeling fancy, sprinkle a pinch of lavender on top.
Sip and enjoy!
This healthy iced coffee is smooth, satisfying, and the perfect pick-me-up on a warm summer morning or afternoon. The natural sweetness of the banana pairs beautifully with the floral hint of lavender, making every sip feel like a small, luxurious escape.
